AceAutoLog works in a box and it cannot access any data from your device.
Java mobile software is safe to use.
AceAutoLog works in a "box" (a Java virtual machine) and it cannot read, write, or communicate any data from outside the "box" without your permission. In other words, AceAutoLog has no access to any data stored or communicated on your device outside AceAutoLog at any time. As such, AceAutoLog is safe to install and run on a mobile phone or PDA.
Installation is as easy as going to an Internet address.
To download, install, and configure AceAutoLog, simply open your mobile browser, go to the download menu, and follow the instructions. Click the Install, Ok, and Run buttons when prompted. When AceAutoLog runs for the first time, a wizard will guide you through the initial configuration, which could be as simple as entering the mileage of your car. At some point, AceAutoLog will ask for your permission to register itself to "wake up" to alert you when maintenance is overdue (called auto-invocation); this is safe and you can choose "yes" or "no" with no impact over the device or the main logging features of AceAutoLog. Uninstallation is as easy as a delete.
